The Burton Mayhem is great because it comes in the wide version for those who are a larger size. The board also has some other really great features. It comes with the Super Fly Core with Dualzone EGD and Negative Profile. It has a sintered vision base, and twin flex. These great features make the Burton Mayhem a really awesome board.
The Super Fly Core is the center of the board and is made of hard and soft wood that is sandwiched together to make for a lighter board, giving the rider an easier ride. The core is built with Dualzone EGD, or Engineered Grain Technology. Dualzone EGD means that the wood is placed at different angles and directions in the core. This allows for hold and makes the board more durable. Because of the sintered vision base, the board is able to go super fast. It has a good all temp wax, making the board slick. Twin flex means that the flex is symmetrical from end to end.
